The MTD Quarter Chase Kit is free. Templates for each chase, a client-status sheet, and the 2026/27 deadline calendar.

Questions

Do you file anything with HMRC?

No. Recordsin never files with HMRC and never asks for your HMRC credentials or your agent services account. It collects records from your clients. You file with the MTD software you already use.

Does it work with my MTD software?

Yes. It does not plug into that software. You get the documents and a status view, then you file as you do now.

Do my clients need to log in or install anything?

No. They reply to an email from your practice name, or they use the upload link in that email. There is no portal. Recordsin files the attachments against the right client and quarter.

Where is client data stored?

Waitlist and account data sit in the EU, on Cloudflare D1 with EU jurisdiction. Uploaded client files, when the product launches, stay in EU-only storage. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The privacy notice names who processes it.

Who owns the data, and what happens if I cancel?

You do. For client records we act as your data processor under a written data processing agreement, and we only use the data to provide the service. On cancellation you can export everything. We delete your clients' files within 30 days.

Can I control how long files are kept?

Yes. Choose a retention period, or delete a client's files at any time.

What do I get with a founding place?

12 months of the Practice plan, up to 200 MTD clients, for £240. The term starts when your account opens. If we do not launch by 6 January 2027, you get a full refund. Before launch, email support@recordsin.co.uk and we will refund you in full.

What if it is not ready in time?

If we do not launch by 6 January 2027, you get a full refund. Before launch, email support@recordsin.co.uk and we will refund you in full.
